The 3300 chair, designed by Swiss designer Bruno Rey in 1971, has become an icon of 20th-century industrial design.
Bruno Rey, who had interned at the Zurich University of Applied Arts under the direction of Willy Guhl, decided to create a chair that did not use screws and bolts. The 3300 chair that emerged from this idea holds a special place in design history and embodies the minimalist and functionalist aesthetic of the period.
