Product description
Set of 4 Børge Mogensen BM1 Dining Chairs in oak for C.M. Madsen, Denmark, 1950s.
The BM1 chair is one of Børge Mogensen’s earliest forays into democratic, functional furniture. Created for C.M. Madsen, this set of four dining chairs exemplifies Mogensen’s commitment to traditional craftsmanship and his admiration for Shaker design, which heavily influenced his early work.
The curved backrest offers excellent support and comfort, staying true to Mogensen’s functional ideals. The oak has developed a rich, warm patina over time, enhancing the natural beauty of the wood.
The chairs are in good vintage condition with normal traces of use for their age. See photos to get an impression. All chairs have newly woven seats.
