This four-seater sofa from the S3300 series is rare, as it is no longer produced. The Series 3300™ was designed by Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Air Terminal, which was connected to the SAS Royal Hotel. The series reflects Jacobsen's impeccable sense of lines and proportions and testifies to his ability to create timeless classics. The Series 3300™ forms an elegant contrast to the organic shapes of the Egg and Swan armchairs, which were also specially designed for the Royal Hotel. Model 3304 – which was, among other places, in Arne Jacobsen's 'Round House' in Sjællands Odde – is an extremely comfortable four-seater sofa. Jacobsen's characteristic signature is beautifully expressed here through the precise contours of the comfortable backrest and the slender tubular steel frame.
