About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
A set of four vintage chairs by the Belgian manufacturer Meurop, a characteristic example of mid-20th century design. These chairs are immediately recognizable by their perforated seat, an iconic design detail that is both aesthetic and functional, reflecting the Space Age style of that period.
The set consists of four chairs in three different colors: two in black, one in light grey, and one in a blue hue. Each chair features a shell seat made of durable plastic, resting on a slender chrome-plated metal base. The design combines industrial materials with an organic form, resulting in a lightweight yet sturdy construction. These chairs were produced in Belgium in the 1970s.
The chairs are in good vintage condition, with a character consistent with their age and use. The structure is solid, and the original finish has been preserved, contributing to their authentic appearance. The color combination makes this set special and versatile.
These Meurop chairs are excellently suited as Dining chairs in an eclectic or retro interior. They can also be used individually as an accent chair in an office, bedroom, or hallway, where their graphic silhouette and playful colors add a unique design element.
