Product description
Set of 4 original Drabert „Swing“ SM 400 K chairs, designed by Gerd Lange for Drabert Stahlmöbel in Minden. The design was created as early as 1967–1968 and is now one of the distinctive German seating furniture designs of that period. The model was awarded the First Federal Prize by the Ministry of Economics of the FRG in 1969; in 1972, a Design Award from MoMA in New York followed. Typical for this model are the bright orange plastic shells, the dark brown upholstery pads, and the delicate chrome-plated sled bases.
