About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
Offered is a set of four dining chairs, designed by the prominent Dutch designer Piet Hein Eek. These chairs are an example of his characteristic approach to material and form. The design is characterized by a minimalist silhouette and an honest construction, resulting in a timeless and functional piece of furniture.
The chairs are crafted from solid wood, presumably oak, with a warm, natural brown finish that accentuates the wood grain. The construction is robust, with clean lines and visible mortise and tenon joints on the seat as a subtle artisanal detail. Both the seat and the backrest have a slight curve, contributing to seating comfort. Each chair features Piet Hein Eek's authentic, branded signature on the underside.
The overall condition of the set is excellent, with a character that testifies to careful use over the years. The wood has developed a light, natural patina that enhances the authenticity and history of the chairs. The structural integrity of each chair is fully intact, making them ready for a new destination.
This set of chairs is a refined addition to a dining area in a modern, Scandinavian, or minimalist interior. They combine effortlessly with various table designs and add an element of understated Dutch Design to the space.
