Product description
A set of four dining chairs by the Dutch furniture manufacturer Schuitema, executed in a characteristic Art Nouveau style. The design testifies to the craftsmanship for which Schuitema is known, with an elegant combination of flowing lines and geometric details. The chairs are made of warm brown wood, with the construction left visible as a decorative element, as can be seen in the mortise and tenon joints. The high, openwork backrest with vertical slats and an oval cut-out is typical of the Art Nouveau period. The seat is upholstered with a cream-colored fabric with a black pattern, offering a subtle contrast to the dark wood.
