Product description
Vintage restored Fibrocit chairs, designed and produced in the 1950s-60s. Belgian metal design and rock-solid. These chairs have been left 'dans son jus', meaning that all signs of use and age are visible. The chairs have been stripped of peeling paint and coated with clear varnish. The frame was welded where necessary, giving it an extra industrial look. The seats are an exact replica of the original seat with a star-shaped hole pattern (suggesting that the chairs are period correct for the first production series). The bolts and leg rubbers have been replaced. Some of the wooden leg inserts have been replaced (2 pieces). They come from an old factory attic. Very beautiful industrial heritage.
