About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This set of four wooden spindle chairs by Pastoe represents a classic and timeless design. The chairs are characterized by their elegant, openwork backrest with slender wooden spindles, creating an airy and refined look in the room. Crafted from solid wood, these dining chairs display a warm brown hue that beautifully accentuates the natural wood grain. The construction, with its distinctive spindles and ergonomically shaped seat, offers both visual appeal and structural integrity. The chairs rest on sturdy, flared legs connected by crossbars for added stability. The set is in functional condition with characteristic signs of use consistent with its age. The original finish has been largely preserved, contributing to the authentic appearance of the whole. These spindle chairs look excellent in a Scandinavian or country interior. They form a harmonious addition to a wooden dining table and bring a warm, homey atmosphere to the dining room or kitchen-diner. Unfortunately, one of the chairs has a small crack in a spindle that has been glued. It is barely noticeable, and the chair is just as sturdy as the others.
