Private sellerProduct description
A set of four dining chairs, designed in the style of the Finnish designer Ilmari Tapiovaara. These chairs are a prime example of Scandinavian mid-century modernism, characterized by the iconic spindle back and the functional, clear design. The construction combines a solid wood seat with a contrasting black lacquered base and backrest. The warm tone of the wood and the sleek black lines create a timeless and graphic silhouette. This set of four is consistent in design and finish, typical of mid-20th century production methods. The chairs are in good vintage condition and show a characteristic patina developed through years of use. The original finish has largely been preserved, contributing to the authentic appearance of the set. The overall condition is consistent with the age of the furniture. These chairs are an elegant addition to a dining area and fit seamlessly into various interior styles, from purely Scandinavian to eclectic and modern. They offer a combination of comfort and durable design.Optionally available for purchase individually €35 ps
