Product description
Set of four vintage ‘Beak’ dining chairs, also known as ‘Snavelbek’ chairs, designed by Louis van Teeffelen for AWA. A distinctive example of Dutch mid-century design, featuring sculpted wooden backrests, slender frames and beautifully flowing lines.
The curved backrests showcase the warm wood grain, while the open frames give the chairs a light appearance. All four seats have been newly reupholstered in cream bouclé, adding a soft, textured contrast to the wood.
Their balanced proportions make them a versatile choice for both vintage and contemporary dining spaces. Pair them with a wooden dining table for a warm, cohesive setting or with a contrasting modern table to highlight their sculptural shapes.
Condition: Vintage wooden frames with signs of age and use. Seats newly reupholstered in cream bouclé. Please examine the photographs for details of the finish and condition.
Sold as a set of four.
