Private sellerProduct description
This is a set of four framed works showcasing the refined craft of traditional Belgian lace. The collection includes examples of Brussels and Mechelen lace, two styles renowned worldwide for their delicate patterns and historical significance in textile art.
The set consists of four individual frames of different sizes: two square frames measuring 23 x 23 cm, one rectangular frame of 26 x 16.5 cm, and another of 23 x 16 cm. The handmade, cream-colored lace is carefully presented on a royal blue textile background, creating a striking contrast. The works are protected behind glass and encased in wooden frames with gold-colored and black finishes.
The framed lace works are in good, vintage condition. The lace itself is excellently preserved, with its intricate details and loops intact. The frames show slight signs of wear consistent with their age, contributing to the authentic character of the set.
This collection is an elegant addition to a classic or eclectic interior. The four frames can be hung together as a small gallery wall or placed individually to bring subtle accents of European heritage and craftsmanship into a space.
