Product description
Elegant Bernhard dining chairs by IKEA, designed by Swedish designer Ola Wihlborg. The model combines a slightly curved seat shell, fully upholstered in black leather, with a delicate chrome-plated steel base. The clear silhouette is largely defined by the continuous seat and backrest shape. The shell rises from the seat in a flowing curve to the high backrest and is fully padded and covered in black leather. A vertical seam on the back and the neatly edged borders emphasize the minimalist design. The slender, chrome-plated steel frame provides a beautiful contrast to the dark leather. The side brackets are made from a continuously bent metal rod and form wide runners on the floor. Due to its construction, the chair offers slight flexibility when sitting – a comfort feature that IKEA also highlights in the original product description of the Bernhard. Condition: Good used condition with signs of wear consistent with age and use. The black leather shows slight creases, pressure marks, and abrasions, as well as occasional minor scratches or superficial traces. The chrome-plated steel frames also show slight signs of wear. Dimensions: L46x W40 x H79 Seat height: 46 cm
