A set of four framed works showcasing the refined art of traditional Belgian lace. This collection includes examples of both Brussels and Mechelen lace, two of the most renowned centers for lace production in history.
The set consists of two square frames measuring 23 by 23 centimeters with a gold-colored finish, and two rectangular frames in black with a gold-colored accent measuring 23.5x16 cm. The delicate, cream-colored lace is crafted from textile and is presented against a background of deep blue, almost purple fabric, which accentuates the complex patterns. The entire piece is protected behind glass.
