Product description
A beautiful set of four small antique Castres earthenware plates (dessert or appetizer plates), dating from the early 20th century.
The plates are decorated with airbrush and stencil techniques in shades of green, blue, and plum purple. The central motif, different for each plate, depicts various fruits on branches (grapes, plums, green apples). The rims of each plate are decorated with a slip-glazed border.
They are in very good condition, with a lovely patina from use, but without any cracks or chips.
