4 Bofinger chairs, type BA 1171, was designed in 1964 by architect and designer Helmut Bätzner. The Bofinger stacking chair was developed into the world's first one-piece plastic chair made of fiberglass-reinforced polyester to be mass-produced in a single pressing process over a steel mold. The Bofinger chair is considered one of the most important classics in modern furniture design history. The chairs are stackable, allowing for compact storage.
The chairs have stood outside at the outdoor dining table, which is why they have suffered a bit, and the fiberglass here and there becomes visible. The usual scratches here and there, of course. We bought these chairs in the 1980s. So they have been outside for about 45 years, mostly in the summer.
there are some chips off at the "webs" of the legs, I'll call it.
