Product description
These unique vintage Murano glass "Aquarium" Table lamps are iconic artworks from the 1950s and 60s, made in Italy. They were designed by the famous glass master Alfredo Barbini for the prominent glass studio Gino Cenedese on the island of Murano. The lamps are made with a heavy, solid glass block technique (often called sommerso), in which handmade colorful fish and fine strands of green seaweed are enclosed. This creates a three-dimensional underwater effect that lights up beautifully when the lamp is on. Dimensions: 24.5 cm including fitting high/17cm glass high 15.5 cm wide x 8 cm deep
