A rare set of three nesting tables by Belgian designer and architect Willy Van Der Meeren, a key figure in post-war Belgian modernism.
This set features asymmetrical tabletops in the primary colors emblematic of Willy Van Der Meeren's modernist vocabulary: black, red, and yellow. The organic lines and minimalist black tubular metal legs reflect the designer's characteristic functional approach.
The tables are entirely in their original condition, retaining their original paint and authentic patina. They show signs of wear consistent with their age: scratches, wear, chips, and visible marks, particularly under the tabletops and on some edges. This intentionally preserved condition contributes to the raw, historical character of the set.
