B.L.O. is Marcel Wanders' contemporary interpretation of the most traditional form of lighting.
The reflector is made of polished stainless steel. The base is made of a translucent or colored Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) plastic.
Moreover, thanks to an integrated sensor, the lamp can simply be blown out like a candle. Of course, the lamp also has a switch that can be used to turn it on and off.
Flos B.L.O. reflects the light on the screen behind the light source. The unique combination of direct and reflected light makes Flos B.L.O. a stylish but also cute table lamp.
Flos B.L.O. has therefore taken over everything from the old-fashioned candle in the candle pan, except for the fire hazard.
