About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This set of two vintage wooden chairs is designed in the style of the Finnish designer Ilmari Tapiovaara. The design is characterized by elegant, tapered spindles and a contrasting finish typical of mid-20th century Scandinavian design.
The chairs are made of wood, with the seat having a warm, natural wood color. The frame, including the legs, spindles, and curved backrest, is finished in a classic black lacquer. This two-tone composition emphasizes the architectural lines of the design and creates a strong visual dynamic characteristic of the Mid Century Modern period.
The set is in good vintage condition, with a character that matches its age and previous use. The structural integrity of the chairs is intact, and they retain an authentic appearance. The visible signs of wear contribute to the unique story of the chairs.
These spindle chairs are a versatile addition to various interior styles, from modern to Scandinavian. They function excellently as characterful Dining chairs or as striking accent chairs in a living or working space.
