Set of 2 vintage armchairs model 'Modus' designed by Kristian Solmer Vedel for Danish quality brand Søren Willadsen, 1960s.
Beautiful set of armchairs model 'Modus' or also called the 'bed chair'. Beautiful solid oak frame. Ornate rounded edges, organic shapes and a beautiful visible wood grain. The frame is structurally sound and in solid condition.
The armchairs still have beautiful original tight singles, a stretched plastic mesh. The back and seat cushion still have nice firm padding and the light brown leather has a beautiful patina. Near the button on both armchairs a small tear, does not detract from the use, see photo.
A beautiful eye-catcher partly due to its design. Beautiful in a shop window, store, free standing in a room or of course at home. 3 pieces available.
