Original vintage folding beech armch/dining chairs designed in the 1950s by Slovenian architect Niko Kralj (1920-2013) for Stol. The chairs consist of solid beech seats and beautifully designed beech plywood armrests. Included in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Design Museum in Denmark. Nice detail is also the mechanism for folding the chair. Iconic design with an ergonomic seat. Condition is good, slight discoloration on one armrest, chip on top and bottom/inside armrest and some superficial wood damage near a hinge (see photos). The folding mechanism works well and the chair is stable with no play.
