About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This offer includes a pair of authentic decorative palm leaves made of hand-beaten brass, attributed to the renowned French design house Maison Jansen (design: Christian Techoueyres). These objects are iconic examples of the 1970s Hollywood Regency style, known for its opulence and nature-inspired motifs, and bring a touch of timeless elegance to any interior.
Details & Authenticity Features:
Dimensions: Length approx. 47 cm (including stem) – the perfect, highly sought-after intermediate size for table and floor lamps.
Material: Hand-beaten, heavy brass with a detailed, perforated edge.
Authenticity Guarantee: On the inside of the leaf, there is the original, solid mounting rod with the characteristic, historical tin solder points for hanging (see detailed photos).
Special Highlight: Beautiful, natural aging! The edges show the typical, slightly reddish-copper dezincification of the edges, which contrasts with the golden leaf center and proves the absolute originality of the pieces. No modern replica!
Condition:
The overall condition of the objects is excellent and corresponds to their age. The leaves have been gently and professionally cleaned. The valuable historical patina has been deliberately preserved, which gives the objects a unique depth. There are no cracks or material breaks!
Versatile Use:
As versatile decorative elements, these palm leaves can be arranged as sculptural wall hangings (the upper hooks are ideal for hanging) or as striking accents on a sideboard, console, or bookshelf. They are also perfect for restoring an incomplete, valuable original lamp.
Sold only as a pair
