Product description
This is a set of two vintage Ikea Lykta table lamps, manufactured in the 1990s. These iconic lamps are a good example of the postmodern design that Ikea popularized during that period, and stand out due to their monolithic glass shape and vibrant color. Each lamp is made from a single piece of hand-blown glass, resulting in a seamless design where the base and shade merge. The bright, apple-green color is characteristic of the model and adds a cheerful accent to any interior. When the lamps are on, they spread a warm and atmospheric diffused light, beautifully accentuating the color of the glass. This set is in very good condition, retaining its original shine and color intensity. The lamps have been carefully preserved and show only minimal traces consistent with their age and previous use, which contributes to their vintage character. The original wiring is functional. As a pair, these Lykta lamps are ideal for use as bedside lamps in a bedroom or as symmetrical accent lighting on a dresser or in a bookshelf. They fit perfectly into an eclectic, retro, or minimalist interior where a touch of color is desired.
