Product description
The Hay AAC21 shell chair, designed by Hee Welling, is an iconic example of modern Scandinavian design. This specific model combines an organically shaped seat shell with a functional swivel base, resulting in a versatile chair that is both aesthetic and practical. This set of two chairs is fully upholstered in a vibrant orange textile fabric, adding a striking color accent to the design. The seat shell rests on a four-legged swivel base made of white coated metal. The combination of the soft, structured fabric and the sleek metal frame emphasizes Hay's minimalist approach. The chairs are in good condition, retaining their structural integrity and original finish. The upholstery shows characteristic signs of use consistent with its age, while the functionality of the swivel mechanism has remained fully intact. These Hay AAC21 chairs are perfectly suited for a modern office environment or as a dynamic addition to a contemporary dining area. The bright orange color contrasts beautifully with neutral interiors and adds a playful, yet professional element to the space.
