Two iconic, surrealistic chairs made of Mexican Caoba-Mahogany after Pedro Friedeberg.
Approx. 1960-1969
Pedro Friedeberg is a Mexican surrealist artist and designer, famous for his colorful visual language, born in Florence and naturalized as a Mexican.
His "Hand Chair" is highly appreciated worldwide and a real "must have" for every design enthusiast.
Work by Pedro Friedeberg can be found worldwide in famous museums of Modern Art and leading galleries.
Both chairs are handcrafted from one log and therefore differ slightly in shape, finish and color, so that the natural tones and wood structure of the Caoba-Mahohniehout come into their own beautifully.
They are both in near perfect condition.
