About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This set of two Gispen sled chairs combines an iconic Dutch design with comfortable, soft upholstery. The timeless silhouette, characterized by the chrome-plated tubular frame, makes these chairs a recognizable classic within Dutch Design. The chairs are upholstered in a beige ribbed fabric that provides a warm appearance and a pleasant seating experience. The frame is crafted from chrome-plated metal, creating a strong contrast with the soft upholstery. The armrests feature black Bakelite overlays, a typical characteristic of this type of Gispen chair. The set is in a condition with character, befitting its age and previous use. The chairs are structurally sound and retain their original charm. These Gispen chairs look excellent at a dining table or as comfortable desk chairs in a home office. They fit seamlessly into vintage, industrial, and modern interiors alike, where they add a touch of Dutch design history.
