Beautiful, sleekly designed armchairs/chairs designed by W. H. Gispen in the Rietveld style, Bauhaus Business Mid-Century Modern, in the 1960s and produced by Eimmenstaal. The chairs are a prime example of progressive design; not only is the design innovative, but so are the materials used. The set is characterized by its sleek and clean lines. The frame consists of square steel tubing with wooden backrests and faux leather upholstery. The frame is off-white, the fabric is red, and the backrests are wooden. The upholstery is in vintage condition with signs of wear, and one chair has a small burn hole. The frames are in good condition.
The entire set is in neat vintage condition with signs of wear consistent with its age.
