About this seller
ProfessionalProduct description
This set consists of two Swan Chair swivel armchairs, an iconic design by Danish designer Arne Jacobsen for manufacturer Fritz Hansen. Originally designed in 1958 for the lobby of the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen, the armchair is characterized by its organic, sculptural form, which completely dispenses with straight lines.
The armchairs are upholstered in a durable red textile fabric and rest on a swivel, four-star base made of polished aluminum. The dimensions are 74 cm in width, 68 cm in depth, and 77 cm in height, with a comfortable seat height of 40 cm.
As classics of mid-century Scandinavian design, these armchairs blend seamlessly into modern and minimalist interiors. They function excellently as a striking pair in a living room, a lobby, or a representative office area, adding a touch of design history and color to any space.
