Item No. 6.S Two vintage Arne Jacobsen Series 7 chairs from the 1960s. The chairs have been stripped of their original finish, removing several layers of lacquer, resulting in two areas where the mahogany veneer has been sanded through. See photos. The chairs have been sanded to a very fine 320 grit and sealed with hard oil. Unfortunately, the original manufacturer's sticker is missing. The chairs have been reworked, they were once painted over with several layers of paint. Now they have been sanded down and finely sanded, the top layer (mahogany) has been sanded through in a few places. The surface is very finely sanded and sealed twice with hard oil.
