Item No. 6.S Two vintage Arne Jacobsen Series 7 chairs from the 1960s. The chairs have been stripped of their finish, removing several layers of lacquer, which has exposed two areas of the mahogany veneer. See photos. The chairs have been sanded to 320 grit (very fine) and sealed with hard oil. The original manufacturer's sticker is unfortunately missing. The chairs have been reworked, they were once painted over with several layers of paint. Now they have been sanded down and finely sanded, the top layer (mahogany) has been sanded through in a few places. The surface is very finely sanded and sealed twice with hard oil.
