Private sellerProduct description
A pair of vintage English two tier bedside tables in the Regency manner, sold together. Well made, with the kind of craft you don't often find in newer furniture. The top and lower shelf of each table are veneered in a richly figured wood within a crossbanded border, and the grain is warm and full of movement. The frame is solid wood, with turned legs and small finials at each corner. Each table has a single drawer with a brass ring pull on a rosette backplate. They show signs of use in keeping with their age. There are lighter patches in the finish on the tops and lower shelves from sun and use, visible in the photos. A light refinish or a clean and oil would bring the wood back. Both tables are sturdy and the drawers run well. Dimensions per table: 44 x 44 x 54 cm (W x D x H).
