Product description
Reduced to a minimum, Eileen Gray’s Tube Light is radically modern and discretely integrates with any environment. The base, slender steel bar and light tube merge into a unity of simple aesthetics: a linear lamp that provides the light with a wide scatter due to the relatively large surface, emitting it softly and evenly into the environment. The Tube Light was added to numerous design museum collections around the world as a design classic.
Tubular steel floor lamp, chrome-plated with black plastic lamp sockets for mounting the linear light source. Metal floor plate, chrome-plated, with integrated push-button switch and felt gliders. Osram light bulb tube lamp included plus 1 spare lamp.
We have two (2x) available, both in as good as new condition. (One lamp has an extremely small imperfection in the base, see last detail photo.)
The lamps are signed on the underside of the lamp base with the signature of Eileen Gray and the numbered ClassiCon logo.

De Tube Light van Eileen Gray is tot een minimum gereduceerd, radicaal modern en discreet geïntegreerd in elke omgeving. De voet, de slanke stalen stang en de lichtbuis versmelten tot een eenheid van eenvoudige esthetiek: een lineaire lamp die dankzij het relatief grote oppervlak een brede lichtspreiding biedt, waardoor het licht zacht en gelijkmatig in de omgeving wordt verspreid. De Tube Light is als designklassieker opgenomen in de collecties van talloze designmusea wereldwijd.
Buisvormig stalen frame staande vloerlamp, verchroomd, met zwarte kunststof fittingen voor de lineaire lichtbron. Metalen voetplaat, verchroomd, met geïntegreerde drukknopschakelaar en vilten glijders. Inclusief Osram lichtbuis lamp en 1 reservelamp.
De lampen zijn aan de onderkant van de lampvoet gesigneerd met de handtekening van Eileen Gray en genummerd ClassiCon logo.
We hebben er twee (2x) beschikbaar, beide in zo goed als nieuwe staat. (Eén lamp heeft een heel klein defectje aan de voet, zie laatste detailfoto.)
