Product description
Two ivory white vintage Alexander Begge Casala 'Casalino' Space Age cantilever chairs. These are 2 different models (2x2) that are very similar.
Two chairs are from the 2004/2005 model. They have original dark gray light mottled upholstery in good vintage condition.
The other two chairs are also from the 1970s and have a black seat (original upholstery). Branding on the frame (see photos).
Country of origin: Germany. These chairs are also called Casalino chairs and were designed by Alexander Begge for Casala.
The flowing creamy white frame is made of molded polystyrene (plastic). The lightly padded seats increase seating comfort. The chair's classically flowing forms make it an ideal candidate in your quirky dining room, kitchen, coffee bar or home office and, of course, in your bedroom. Chairs are stackable.

Condition: in very good vintage condition. Only a few minor marks and surface scratches visible from previous use, mainly around the edges and corners (see photos). The fabric black covers have signs of use and could be replaced (easy to do yourself). One of the chairs has a restored crack. This was already there when I bought the chair 20 years ago and is not visible as it is in the seat (see last photo). The pictures show that there is felt on the underside of the chairs in some places. That can be removed before the sale.
