Product description
Original pair of Calligaris GIN bar stools, designed by Edi & Paolo Ciani / S.T.C. for Calligaris, Italy. A distinctive Italian design featuring a single-piece moulded plywood seat and backrest with an integrated handle, mounted on an elegant chrome-plated four-leg steel base. The circular footrest is fitted with the original black protective footrest cover. The stools correspond to the GIN series documented in the original Calligaris catalogue as models CS/72-A and CS/73-A. Designer: Edi & Paolo Ciani / S.T.C. Manufacturer: Calligaris Model: GIN Country: Italy Period: late 1990s / early 2000s Likely production date: 2002 Quantity: 2 Materials: moulded plywood, chrome-plated steel, rubber footrest protector Colour: natural wood / chrome Condition: good vintage condition Both stools are in good condition, with normal signs of age and use consistent with vintage furniture. The plywood shells are well preserved and the chrome bases present well. Please see the photographs for details of the condition. One stool retains an original/internal label marked “346 65 06/02”. The “06/02” marking may indicate production in June 2002, although this has not been independently confirmed. Dimensions: Overall height: [67 cm] Seat height: [59cm] Width: [38cm] Depth: [39,5 cm] Sold as a pair of two stools.
