A pair of Børge Mogensen BM1 Dining Chairs in oak for C.M. Madsen, Denmark, 1950s. The BM1 chair is one of Børge Mogensen’s earliest forays into democratic, functional furniture. Created for C.M. Madsen, this pair of dining chairs exemplifies Mogensen’s commitment to traditional craftsmanship and his admiration for Shaker design, which heavily influenced his early work. The curved backrest offers excellent support and comfort, staying true to Mogensen’s functional ideals. The oak has developed a rich, warm patina over time, enhancing the natural beauty of the wood.
