Product description
Please note: Available from the first week of October.
For sale: A Piper Lounge pendant lamp with five arms from the Danish design brand Bolia, designed by studio 365° North in matte antique brass. The Piper is constructed from a vertical brass tube on which two horizontal arms are clamped, each with a fitting on either side, plus a fifth fitting directly below the tube. This creates a sleek geometric, almost molecular image that looks different from every angle and keeps the space airy instead of filling it up.
The special thing about this design is that you have a lot of influence on it yourself. Because the fittings are open and the light sources remain visible, your choice of lamps determines the entire character: With large opal white globes, it becomes a soft, warm, and creamy whole as in the photos, with clear filament lamps it becomes more graphic and industrial. The lamp is dimmable, provided you use dimmable light sources and your installation allows it.
The lamp measures fifty centimeters high by forty-two and a half centimeters wide and deep, and has five E27 fittings of a maximum of twenty-five watts each. The cord is three meters long, so you have leeway even with high ceilings. Weighing less than two kilograms, the lamp is easy to hang and suitable for shipping. Light sources are not included.
365° North designs from the idea that good design should be beautiful, functional, and immediately understandable, and the Piper is a prime example of this: No shade, no decoration, just the construction itself. The lamp is in good condition with minor signs of use; The brass has an even matte finish without damage and all fittings work. The new price was approximately four hundred and fifty euros.
Two identical copies are available; The price is per piece. Two identical lamps in a row above a long table or counter create a strong, coherent image, so taking them together is negotiable.
