Set of early Penta chairs in very good condition. Designed by Jean-Paul Barray & Kim Moltzer. Manufactured by Bofinger in the 1960s. The chairs have a five-corner shaped zinc colored metal wire frame which can be folded for easy storage or transport. The thick natural canvas of the seat is in excellent condition and has a very nice ocher color. The canvas of the chairs was professionally replaced. Because the chairs have never been sat in there are still wrinkles in the canvas, which will largely disappear after use. It is attached to the frame with wooden rods These Penta chairs are part of the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris collection. We left the frames in it’s original condition, on request the frames can be professionally repainted. Jean-Paul Barray & Kim Moltzer are French furniture desingers.
