The Arflex Bobo sofa, designed by Cini Boeri in 1967, is an iconic piece of Italian design from the mid-twentieth century. This design is known as one of the first examples of a piece of seating furniture made entirely of polyurethane foam, without a traditional internal frame, resulting in a fluid and organic form.
This set of two sofas features striking red textile upholstery that accentuates the design's distinctive curves. The one-piece foam construction offers not only a unique aesthetic but also a comfortable and supportive seating experience. The original Arflex label, confirming production in Italy, is clearly visible on the upholstery.
The sofas are in good condition, with the structure and upholstery retaining their original integrity. The shape of the foam has remained intact, attesting to careful use over the years.
