Description: Offered for Sale: A stunning, authentic French basket chandelier (bag chandelier) in classic Empire style, dating from the 1930s. This eye-catcher is constructed from hundreds of closely spaced glass/crystal buttons and octagonal beads that together form an elegant balloon-shaped basket.
The lamp is in beautiful vintage condition. The crystal creates a warm, sparkling refraction of light, and the brass frame has an atmospheric, lived-in patina that fits perfectly in both classic and modern eclectic interiors.
