Product description
Pair of Vintage Mid-Century Bedside Tables by Jindřich Halabala
Elegant pair of original vintage bedside tables designed by renowned Czech designer Jindřich Halabala. These pieces are beautiful examples of Mid-Century Modern design, combining clean lines with warm wood tones and excellent craftsmanship.
Made from beechwood and spruce, the cabinets feature a rich yellow-brown to brown color with a lovely age-related patina that enhances their character. Their compact proportions make them versatile for use as bedside tables, side tables, or accent pieces.
Both pieces are in very good vintage condition, with only light, age-appropriate signs of use. They remain sturdy, well-preserved, and fully functional.
Dimensions (each):
• Width: 52 cm
• Depth: 36 cm
• Height: 45 cm
Sold as a set of two.
Jindřich Halabala was one of the most influential Czech industrial designers of the 20th century. Known for promoting functional, affordable, and modern furniture, his work helped shape interiors across Czechoslovakia in the interwar and postwar period. Many of his designs, produced by UP Závody in Brno, are now highly sought after on the vintage market.
