Product description
A true design classic in the elegant Bauhaus/Mid-Century style, designed in the 1960s/70s by Centro Studi for Matteo Grassi. The MG5 combines a clean, minimalist aesthetic with high-quality materials – pure Italian craftsmanship.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition. Two of the chairs have minor scratches in the leather (see photos). Additionally, one tension rod is missing from under the seat on each chair (see last photo).
Materials & Craftsmanship:
Frame: Robustly welded steel tubing with a chrome-plated or titanium-look finish for stability and a subtle industrial touch.
Upholstery: Thick, patinated saddle leather – covering the seat, back, and armrests; embossed with "Matteo Grassi" as a mark of authenticity.

(e.g., "normal signs of age-related wear" or "no tears, only slight patina"), each chair is missing one tension bar under the seat.
