Product description
Decorative pair of older botanical art prints after works by the Italian Renaissance artist Jacopo Ligozzi (1547–1627): • Digitalis purpurea with butterfly • Valeriana rubra Both sheets bear the inscriptions „J. Ligozzi sec. XVI“ and „Firenze – Galleria degli Uffizi, Gabinetto dei Disegni e Stampe“. These are older art reproductions based on original drawings from the graphic collection of the Uffizi in Florence. Matching vintage framing with brown passe-partout, gold-colored lines and oval brass plates. The frames show age-related signs of wear, abrasion and scratches. Please refer to the photos. Dimensions per frame: approx. 41 × 29 × 1.2 cm. Sold only as a pair.
