Private sellerProduct description
A set of two vintage tubular frame chairs, manufactured in Italy in 1986. These chairs pay homage to Marcel Breuer's iconic 'Cesca' B32 design, a milestone in Bauhaus-era modernism.
The construction combines a cantilever frame of newly professionally white powder-coated steel with seats and backrests of solid beech wood. The surfaces are inlaid with hand-woven rattan, also known as Vienna caning. The original stamps, documenting production in August and September 1986, confirm the Italian origin and vintage status of the set.
The chairs are in a vintage condition consistent with their age. The wood and caning show a characteristic patina that testifies to decades of use, while the frames are structurally solid. This set is not a modern reproduction, but an authentic vintage pair with a documented history.
With their timeless silhouette and classic combination of materials, these chairs fit seamlessly into various interior styles, from Mid-Century Modern and Scandinavian to more eclectic or industrial environments. They function excellently as Dining chairs or as stylish accent chairs in a living or working space.
