Two different vintage alarm clocks from Germany are on display: a more modern electric alarm clock from the 1970s and a classic mechanical model.
Orange Electric Alarm Clock (Left)
This striking orange alarm clock is an Electric 2000 model, manufactured in West Germany during the 1970s.
Features: It has a rectangular plastic casing in a typical "Space Age" style with a black dial and white numerals.
Functionality: This is an electric table alarm clock that operates on AC power and is equipped with an alarm function.
Peter "Repeat Alarm" Alarm Clock (Right)
This round orange clock is a mechanical alarm clock from the German brand Peter.
Model: This specific model is known as the "Repeat Alarm" and was likely produced in the 1970s.
Design: It features a metal casing, an analog dial with two additional subdials for the seconds and alarm time, and stands on small metal feet. (One of these is missing, see photo.)
Technology: Unlike the alarm clock on the left, this is a fully mechanical device that requires manual winding.
