Product description
This set of two Thonet dining chairs combines a timeless design with natural materials. The iconic tubular frame design by Marcel Breuer, characteristic of the Bauhaus style, offers a floating effect that is both visually light and comfortable. The chairs are crafted with a chrome-plated steel frame and seats and backrests made of woven cane (wicker) within a wooden frame. The warm brown tone of the wood and cane contrasts beautifully with the gleaming silver-colored metal. The metal can regain its original shine by polishing. The chairs bear the Thonet mark, underscoring the authenticity and rich design history of the manufacturer. The chairs are in good condition, commensurate with age and use. The canework is intact and the frame retains its structural integrity, with a characteristic patina that contributes to the vintage look. These chairs fit perfectly into a modern, Scandinavian, or eclectic interior. They function perfectly as dining chairs or as stylish occasional chairs in a living or workspace. The price is for the 2 chairs.
