About this seller
Private sellerProduct description
This set of two rattan chairs was manufactured by the renowned Dutch manufacturer Rohé Noordwolde. The design is characterized by the striking, high backrest with an elegantly woven pattern and the round seat, making these chairs an iconic example of mid-century Dutch design. The chairs are constructed entirely from natural rattan, with the joints carefully wrapped for extra strength and a refined finish. The light, beige wood tone of the material emphasizes the organic design and the artisanal character of the construction. The curved legs flow smoothly into the base, creating an elegant and airy appearance. The set is in good condition, commensurate with age and use. Over the years, the rattan has developed a beautiful patina, contributing to the chairs' authentic charm. The structure is intact and the chairs are fully functional. These Rohé Noordwolde chairs make a stylish addition to a conservatory, living room, or bedroom. They fit perfectly into a Scandinavian, bohemian, or vintage interior and combine effortlessly with natural materials and light fabrics.
