A set of two original KM1 armchairs by the Italian manufacturer Matteo Grassi. Designed in the 1970s, these chairs are iconic examples of Italian design, known for their sculptural form and the use of high-quality saddle leather.
The chairs are fully upholstered in thick, black 'Korium' saddle leather stretched over a steel frame. The construction is characterized by visible stitching that connects the panels and accentuates the chair's shape. Produced in Italy, these chairs represent the craftsmanship for which Matteo Grassi is known.
This set is in good, original condition consistent with its age and use. The leather has developed a light, authentic patina that adds to the chairs' character without detracting from their sleek aesthetic.
