Private sellerProduct description
This is a set of two Windy armchairs, an iconic design by Gijs Papavoine for the Dutch brand Montis. The chairs are characterized by their high, slightly curved backrest and slender silhouette, which creates an inviting yet elegant appearance. The Windy model, introduced in 1992, is a classic within the Montis collection and an example of timeless Dutch Design.
The set consists of two identical armchairs in different color schemes. One chair is upholstered in blue leather and the other in orange-red leather, offering the possibility to use them as a contrasting pair or as individual accent pieces. Both chairs rest on slender, metal legs that give the design a floating character. The combination of high-quality leather and a minimalist base makes this a versatile design.
The armchairs are in good, used condition and the leather has developed a characteristic patina over the years. The construction is solid and the chairs still offer the comfort for which Montis is known. The visible signs of wear are consistent with the age and normal use of the furniture pieces.
This set fits perfectly into a modern or eclectic interior. The two different colors make them a dynamic duo in a seating area, but the armchairs can also be placed individually, for example, in a reading nook or bedroom to add a touch of design.
