Two Dal Vera "Les Arcs" model chairs, closely associated with the famous French architect and designer Charlotte Perriand.
Here are some key details about this iconic design:
Perriand selected these chairs in the 1960s for the furnishing of the luxurious ski resort Les Arcs in the French Alps. Although they are often attributed to her, they were produced by the Italian manufacturer Dal Vera.
The chairs feature a frame made of chrome-plated steel tubes. The seat and backrest are made of a single piece of thick saddle leather (cognac-colored), which is attached to the frame with straps and metal hardware.
They are known for the beautiful patina on the leather, which gives the chairs a unique character through years of use.
