A set of two ceramic lidded Vases, manufactured by the Belgian producer Herbert Bequet. These Vases are a characteristic example of the craftsmanship from the factory in Quaregnon, known for its decorative pottery. The pair stands out due to the hand-painted floral motifs and the unique, stylized handles on the lids. Each Vase is hand-decorated with a vibrant palette of yellow, green, brown, and turquoise hues, applied on a cream-colored background. The expressive brushstrokes give the floral decoration a dynamic character. The Vases are marked on the underside with the stamp "H. BEQUET QUAREGNON MADE IN BELGIUM", confirming their authenticity and origin. The overall condition of the set is very good, consistent with its age.
